The Senior Manager, DevSecOps is accountable for DevSecOps function for Shake Shack digital and data. S/he will be providing leadership for improving security, performance, and stability of revenue generating software platforms. In addition, they will set and maintain release and deployment benchmarks and improve overall deployment in order to deliver incremental business value.
The Senior Manager, DevSecOps is a strong communicator at all levels from executives to project team members who is comfortable leading a distributed team of internal and 3rd party resources. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background in software development, security, and operations, coupled with exceptional leadership and communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute a comprehensive DevSecOps strategy aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of DevSecOps engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
Act as a subject matter expert on DevSecOps best practices, providing guidance and support to stakeholders across the organization
Manage allocated budget for operational tools enabling business technology and business outcomes
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated DevSecOps pipelines for build, test, deployment, and monitoring for digital and data applications
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
6 to 10 years related experience leading and managing a team of DevOps engineers in a fast-paced environment, overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to support software development and delivery.
Experience working in AWS DevOps tools, products, and services · Demonstrated expertise in driving automation initiatives to streamline deployment, monitoring, and management of applications and infrastructure, resulting in increased efficiency and reduced time-to-market.
Experienced in designing, building, and maintaining build pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes, and configured and managed container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or ECS to deploy and scale containerized applications effectively.
Understanding of architecture patterns, principles, and best practices for Microservices/API, Streaming/Eventing, Integration, High Availability, Cloud, Security, Devops and Data
Experience in deploying and supporting web, containerized, and serverless infrastructures.
Proven hands-on experience in AWS: IAM, Lambda, DynamoDB, Aurora, S3, Code Artifact, App Config, Batch, Route 53, and CloudFront etc
Experience in building complex systems using IaC, using SAM, CloudFormation, CDK · Experience with observability tooling such as but not limited to DataDog, CloudWatch, New Relic, LogRocket etc.
Strong hands-on experience in AWS engineering, operationalization, automation build out, integration and CI/CD using Python, JavaScript, and AWS APIs
Experience in managing and improving usage of Cloudflare and Cloudflare Workers · Experience in leading AWS Well Architected Framework Review and implementation.
Experience in building complex systems using IaC, using SAM, CloudFormation, CDK
Experience in managing and improving usage of Cloudflare and Cloudflare Workers
Experience in deploying and supporting web, containerized, and serverless infrastructures. ·
Experience managing 3rd party vendors – onshore, nearshore, and offshore
