Company Overview
We are a U.S.-based global leader in the restaurant industry, dedicated to delivering an exceptional customer experience through innovative leadership and strategic partnerships. We are currently seeking a Business Director to oversee and lead our operations in various markets across Asia Pacific. This role is based in Hong Kong and will be responsible for managing marketing, operations, and relationships with our licensed partners across the region.

Job Summary
As the Business Director, you will be responsible for leading the brand's development across four markets across Asia. You will manage relationships with key partners, ensuring the brand operates to the highest standards across 50+ locations with growth potential up to100 locations and HKD 780M – 1.17B in sales. Your role includes overseeing marketing, real estate, operations, and IT, as well as driving innovation and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational & Marketing Management: Lead monthly partner QBRs, manage operational dashboards, and review weekly project management tasks (25%).
- Regional Leadership: Oversee critical control points in real estate, operations, marketing, and IT functions across China and Southeast Asia (25%).
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive the company’s strategic goals in partnership with licensed businesses (20%).
- Innovation and Growth: Spearhead innovation initiatives with licensed partners to continuously evolve the business model and expand brand presence (10%).
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field.
- Experience: 8-10 years of experience in a progressive restaurant or hospitality company, with 4-6 years of supervisory experience.
- Skills: Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and project management software.
- Additional: International licensing experience and executive reporting knowledge are highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Advanced experience in a hospitality-related field.
- Experience: Over 10 years of experience in an international environment, particularly with global brands managing licensed partner relationships.
- Skills: Proven track record in P&L management, business acumen, and strategic development of licensed partnerships.
