Job Summary
We’re looking for a dynamic and driven Digital Product Manager to join our team at Shake Shack, a leader and one of the fastest growing restaurants in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping and delivering exceptional digital experiences that delight our guests and drive business growth. This is a unique opportunity to work on impactful projects, launch new digital products and features, and collaborate across teams to deliver innovative solutions. While experience in the restaurant industry isn’t required, familiarity with hospitality is a plus. Experience is a Product Manager is a must. The ideal candidate will have an eye for identifying and understanding gaps in consumer products and a proactive, collaborative, and innovative mindset for filling them.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
· Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for a portion of the product roadmap, including ideation, design, development, launch, and optimization
· Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and guest needs
· Collaborate with internal & external cross-functional teams—including design, engineering, marketing, and operations—to ensure delivery of high-quality digital products on time and within scope
· Partner with Product Analytics to conduct user research and analyze data to identify guest pain points, opportunities for innovation, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for success
· Manage and prioritize a product backlog, clearly communicating requirements and acceptance criteria to development teams
· Launch and iterate on new digital features or products, ensuring successful adoption and continuous improvement based on guest feedback and performance metrics
· Create compelling presentations, stories, and updates to share progress, insights, and recommendations with stakeholders at all levels
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
· Product Management Experience: 2-5 years of experience managing digital products, with a track record of launching new features or initiatives
· Industry Knowledge: Experience in QSR, hospitality, or related industries is a plus but not required
· Communication & Storytelling: Exceptional ability to articulate ideas, insights, and product updates clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences
· Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams
· Technical Literacy: Familiarity with Agile methodologies, product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Lucid, Miro), and basic technical concepts in web and app development
· Customer-Centric Mindset: Passion for understanding guest needs and delivering solutions that enhance their experiences
· Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to guide product direction
· Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and navigating ambiguity, whether in a startup or large enterprise setting

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

Related Experience
Strong PowerPoint and data visualization experience
Proficiency in business case development and project management processes
Direct experience with Google Analytics and headless Content Management Systems (CMS) preferred
Familiarity with food delivery and/or catering platforms a plus
Experience with marketing automation and Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) a plus
